From the beginning, I was really never seen without a pencil in hand, always trying to rush through my studies to find more time to sketch out a new face or design. For years I strived to find the one thing that quieted the noise in my head that screamed at full volume. The constant racket ceased, the first time I picked up a camera, and it hasn’t been far from my side, ever since.

With no formal training, I have found an eye for the perfect mix of light and shadow. I worked as a photo lab manager while trying to master the camera and film, learning to manipulate it to do the things I visualized in my head. I then started my own business, studio, and reluctantly left film behind as the industry changed. I eventually mastered the digital slr, almost willing the camera to do my work.

I express my creativity in many ways, trying to create a portrait that isn't like the norm, bringing personality and individuality into the image. My favorite is using light and shadow, wrapping it around people and accentuating their lines in their face.

No matter the theme or the subject matter, I hope that you see something in my work that you normally may not.

I hold many awards and achievements, but honestly care not to list them. I can give references and/or achievements if you request them, however, I do this for the love of creating something I can be proud of and that you will love to hang on your wall or to give as the perfect gift.
